Blickfang Basel was a special milestone for V Design Lab. Having previously exhibited at Blickfang Zurich, this was my first time at the Basel edition, held at the Messe Basel, an iconic venue that once hosted Baselworld, the renowned watch and jewelry fair. Standing beneath its distinctive open sky oculus, I felt a sense of history and anticipation for the days ahead.

From the very start, the atmosphere was dynamic. A wonderful mix of visitors—some discovering V Design Lab for the first time, others already familiar with my work—stopped by to explore the collection. It was particularly exciting to meet customers who had previously come across V Design Lab at the Swiss Design Market in Zurich. One of the most valuable aspects of these events is the direct exchange with clients and fellow designers. Hearing feedback, seeing how pieces resonate with people, and engaging with a wider design community always brings fresh inspiration.
