Happy to share that from 13th April to 4th May, Galleria Rossini opens the exhibition of the finalists of the third edition of 'Gioiello Contemporaneo Contest'.
With the exhibition of over 50 pieces of contemporary jewellery, by artists from Italy and abroad, the Milanese gallery once again becomes a reference point, during Milan Art Week and the Fuorisalone, for initiatives to enhance artist's jewellery.
An art space devoted to experimentation that, in collaboration with curators Marina Chiocchetta and Sonia Patrizia Catena, welcomes unique and versatile, multifaceted and heterogeneous pieces, born from the research and creativity of Italian and foreign designers, goldsmiths and artists.
The authors on show have developed their collections based on a personal stylistic code that tells of jewellery that is the result of a mixture of different identities and techniques.
An exhibition that aims to investigate and take stock of the state of the art of jewellery, from traditional to innovative paths: goldsmith and design jewellery, sculptural or revolutionary, fashion accessories or experimental jewellery.
The selected designers, in some cases, propose jewellery that challenges the traditional perception of wearability, incorporating interactive or transformable elements that engage the user in a unique and immersive experience; in others we have jewellery that evokes the body and sculptural language; or we have ornaments that aspire to lightness and seem to float in space while playing with the effects of light that reverberate on them.
Jewellery by various artists will be on show, including three pieces by V DESIGN LAB Jewellery.

The finalists were chosen by two juries, one internal to the gallery and one external, composed of curators, art experts, teachers and designers.
The exhibition, which will open to the public on the occasion of Milan Design Week on Saturday 13 April, will be on display until 4 May, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
